Merkley+Partners is in search of a New Business Director to lead the agency’s business development and play an integral role in delivering short- and long-term revenue goals. The candidate for this position must be a seasoned new business professional who is well-versed in the agency pitch process, having led a diverse range of successful pitches at previous ad agencies.
This position will be tasked with spearheading and organizing all business development efforts in conjunction with senior leadership and core teams assigned to each respective pitch. This position will report directly into the President with two direct reports (New Business Manager, who has been at the agency for over 11 years and a TBH new business coordinator).
The ideal candidate will not only be a veteran of the advertising industry with 7+ years of new business experience, but also well-versed in the fully integrated agency model, with knowledge across a range of client verticals. This position will also be tasked with (in conjunction with senior leadership) evaluating our new business offering and applying proven best practices to improve overall win rates.
Job Skills and Requirements:
• 7+ years of new business agency experience
