    The Account Executive maintains strong, lasting client relationships based on progress in achieving marketing objectives. The Account Executive engenders trust in the Agency with completion of projects on time and within allocated budget.


    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Consult with creative, media, planning and account management to communicate client objectives and to develop alternative strategic solutions.
    • Prepare and receive client approval of job orders with sufficient information so that other agency staff can complete projects in an effective and timely manner.
    • Develop timetable for client projects in conjunction with members of other departments and ensure that they are met.
    • Keep agency personnel informed of client requests and changes.
    • Review all media and creative work prior to submitting to the client for approval.
    • Coordinate with the media, creative and production members of the account team to insure all media deadlines and rotation schedules are accurate and up to date.
    • Transmit billing to the client after checking for accuracy and reviewing against estimate.
    • Present to clients when assigned.
    • Prepare all materials and presentations for internal and client meetings.
    • Track competitive activity staying aware of any news in the automotive category and present findings and analysis to internal stakeholders and clients.
    • Primary agency contact for MBUSA Regional Clients and Dealers in 22 Southern Region Markets
    • Ensure regional inputs are incorporated into local market advertising plans
    • Facilitate/integrate tactical advertising/marketing activities
    • Manage DMA budget reporting
    • Ensure timely communication of monthly advertising activity to Regional MBUSA and dealer clients
    • Establish key Dealer contacts to openly discuss opportunities/issues
    • Work with RMM and Market Direct team to facilitate and monitor Direct Marketing efforts in the region
    • Maintain marketing/advertising status reports
    • Maintain tag bank and work with H.O. account team to ensure accuracy
    • Responsible for timely and accurate scheduling of creative for RDA media buys
    • Act as “go-to” person for advertising/media issues for dealers in 22 markets
    • Work with RMM and AD to accurately track non-advertising LCP expenditures
    • Ensure all LCP meetings are professionally managed with appropriate advertising content
    • Assist in the development of annual regional marketing plan objectives/strategies/tactics Serve in a support role to Account Director for major market plan stewardship
    • Ensure accurate and timely tracking of media spending in assigned DMAs
    • Provide monthly competitive advertising report for regional and national clients
    • Ensure timely and accurate creative scheduling for all RDA media buys in assigned DMAs
    • Maintain market files (both physical and electronic) in an orderly system
    • Ensure timely communication of monthly advertising activity to Market Managers and dealers
    • Forward quarterly broadcast summaries to all dealers
    • Assist in the development of local market “Blueprints” to aid in annual media plan development
    • Assist dealers and regional clients with third tier request for creative
    • Maintain production spending log
    • Ensure timely processing of agency billing
