Merkley+Partners is seeking an AAE/AE to work on our top luxury brand, Mercedes-Benz.


RDA Production

  • Lead development of new print, OOH and POS creative assignments with AE guidance, including development of regional project overviews, creative team assignment/briefing and management of production process through launch
    • Manage Print and OOH Resize Needs
  • Competitive Monitoring
    • Rotate turns with AC to develop competitive alerts for newly breaking creative, ensuring reviews by AE’s, Planning and Supervisors
  • com Maintenance
    • Upon completion of new creative, coordinate with full account team to ensure files were provided to Specialists for uploading to
    • Check site every 3 weeks to ensure current creative has been posted. Follow-up with Clients as necessary.
  • Worksphere Maintenance
    • Monitor site to ensure only current work is activated, including checking site at the close of each month to remove previous month’s offer creative
  • Commercial Completion Process
    • Work with internal parties to update Commercial Information List for distribution to Clients and Field Team
    • Manage efforts with AC to provide updated reels to Clients
  • Model Year Updates
    • Determine the Field’s needs for each vehicle class and compare to last model year’s spending for assisting in the development of MY changeover plans for RDA Print and OOH needs
    • Lead production of new MY print or OOH creative (as appropriate), coordinating imagery needs with Torque
  • Broadcast Enhancements & Quickstarts
  • Fulfillment of Regional asset requests
  • Manage tag requests with field and production team


  • Broadcast Updates – workloads permitting, assist AE’s in the monthly offer update process for TV and Radio creative.
    • Lead development of monthly wish list of needs for review with AE’s before sharing with Client
    • Work with Traffic and Media to confirm national RCP weight, LCP TV weight and Radio heavy-up weight each month to assist in production timing plans
    • Coordinate opening of ISCI codes with Production/Traffic and activation on Worksphere accordingly
    • Upon receipt of offers, update TV titlecards, TV scripts and radio scripts for review by AE’s before sharing with Client
    • Once approved, post titlecards for Producer for sharing with Digital Media and develop “FOR RECORD” script versions for reviewing with AE’s
    • Once all TV and Radio spots are approved, create as-produced manuscripts and post unslated files for Client and Field
    • Manage updating of creative website for sharing with Field and Razorfish partners
  • Print Updates
    • Confirm monthly print insertions via Media and Worksphere for identifying creative to run with Field
    • Manage print production process internally and with Client, sharing mechanicals with AE for review before sending to Client
    • Once approved, activate in Worksphere and send email to Field with attached mechanical PDFs



  • Coordinate with AC to review final updated RCP and LCP status reports on Mondays before they are sent to Clients
  • Status Calls (RF Integration, Field Status, Digital Status, Asset Integration Calls)
    • Coordinate with AC to manage calendar invites, dial-in numbers, conference rooms for the various status calls
    • Ensure RDA top-line status document is created and shared with RDA AE’s for approval prior to sending to group before Field Status calls
    • Distribute copies of Client-supplied status report for Digital status calls
    • Represent M+P imagery needs on asset integration calls with Torque, leading creative asset and timing discussions


  • Ensure all necessary outstanding regional and MBUSA estimates are generated for coordinating with AC to provide MBUSA estimates weekly to Kim Gratzel on Wednesdays and regional estimates to Field team members
  • Management of MBUSA Print/OOH Tagging, Agency Dubs/Shipping, Quickstart budgets and regional budgets
  • Actively participate in billing meetings, reviewing job jackets as necessary for accuracy following each meeting
  • Coordinate with AC to ensure actuals are added to the billing chart and jobs are added to appropriate respective budget areas following each billing meeting


Development of various reports for review by AE’s before distributing.

  • Monthly RDA Reports (goal completion - the 15th of each month)
    • Competitive Sales Planning
    • Tier 3 Competitive
    • Creative Inventory/Spending Report
  • Field Creative Rotation
    • Coordinate with Field to compile creative rotations by the end of each month
  • Quarterly Spending Report
  • Annual Spending Report
  • Annual RDA and LCP Creative Recap Books


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1+ years of experience in advertising industry
  • Strong computer skills
  • Proven strong writing skills

Must demonstrate a proven track record of:

  • Ability to manage tight deadlines and budgets for a retail-based client; sense of urgency
  • Outstanding client service & relationship building; professional in all business conduct
  • Ability to work autonomously

  • Presentation skills a plus

Working Conditions
